Welcome to the Parish Council website
The parish of Chinnor is situated in South East Oxfordshire, close to the border with Buckinghamshire.

Chinnor nestles at the foot of the Chilterns with the Ridgeway long distance path running close by.

Included in the parish are the villages of Chinnor and Chinnor Hill, Henton, Wainhill and Emmington.

The attractive market town of Thame is only 4 miles away with Princes Risborough 5 miles away and junction 6 of the M40 motorway within easy reach.

The Clerk to the Council, Mrs Liz Folley and her assistant Mrs Jo Wills are in the Chinnor Parish Council offices weekdays from 9.00am until 1.00pm. The offices are located upstairs in the Village Centre on the High Street and you can view planning applications, obtain green recycling boxes or see Liz or Jo if you have matters to raise.

All the Parish Council meetings are held in the Reading Room, which is on the High Street and start at 7.45pm. At the end of the main council meeting there is an open forum for approximately 15 minutes when members of the public can raise matter of interest to them.
