Minutes of MEETING of the Planning Liaison Committee held on Monday 12th March 2012

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

P11/E2277 Proposed replacement dwelling, with demolition of the existing bungalow: reduction in formation levels: alterations to vehicle and pedestrian access: provision of garage, garden stores and greenhouse at 14 Keens Lane. Letters from neighbours were considered. CPC Recommendation: Approval

P11/E2326 Demolition of existing garage and erection of two storey side extension and single storey rear extension at 48 Station Road. Letter from neighbour was considered.  CPC Recommendation: Approval

P11/E2333 Single storey front extension to extend lounge and entrance hall at 40 Cherry Tree Road

CPC Recommendation: Approval

P11/E2340 Erection of detached two bedroom dwelling with parking, together with parking to existing property (amend P11/E1885) at 35 Beech Road. Letters from neighbours were considered.

CPC Recommendation: Objection: Poor design producing a cramped form of development

P11/E2345 Single storey rear extension (in place of conservatory) and two storey side extension at 74 Lower Icknield Way.  CPC Recommendation: Approval

P11/E2350 Proposed single storey front extension to existing porch to form cloaks area and w.c and wash basin at 32 Cherry Tree Road. CPC Recommendation: Approval

P11/E2356 First floor extension at 47 Greenwood Avenue. Letter from neighbour was considered.

CPC Recommendation: Objection: un-neighbourly with loss of light and extra noise.

 

PLANNING DECISIONS: Planning Permission Granted by SODC was noted.

P10/E1215 Erection of 14 dwelling, incl 5 affordable units at land at Siareys Yard, Seymour Business Park.

P11/E1792 All weather riding arena and erection of stable block at 2 Middle Farm, Oakley Road.

P11/E2052/RM Approval of reserved matters in relation to the conversion of a public house into four self contained apartments with associated parking and communal gardens. Erection of a two storey rear and single storey extension. Erection of a single storey infill extension to front elevation at 49 Lower Road.

P11/E2106 Construction of a single storey conservatory at the rear of 31 Beech Road

P11/E2195 Single storey front extension and conversion of garage to living accommodation. As amended by letter and drawing number 3 dated 10-2-12 at 64 Middle Way.

 

PLANNING DECISIONS: Refusal by SODC was noted.

P11/E2119 Proposed replacement dwelling with detached garage; with demolition of the existing bungalow; alterations to vehicle and pedestrian access (as amended 5-3-12) at 9 Church Lane.

 

PLANNING CORRESPONDENCE

PC.1 P10/E1212/RM Reserved matters application for the erection of 4 x B1, B2, B8 units at land at Siareys yard, Seymour Business Park. Application withdrawn by applicant.

PC.2 Posts for the High Street were discussed. Wooden posts to be erected soon outside Parkers and The Style Lounge, also opposite side of the road by the row of cottages. Approx wooden posts be put 15feet apart on both of these areas. Proposed by Cllr Wright, seconded by Cllr Ambridge. The style of posts to be in keeping and 18 inch high.

PC.3 The Clerk gave a brief update following the proposed Bus Shelter meeting. The Hailey Croft area has not been agreed at present. Majority of the bus shelters will be green metal work with Perspex and have a perching bench (not seats) and the Old Kiln Lakes shelter to be wooden with a bench. All in agreement.

 

CLERKS REPORT: Report

CR.1 Community communication was discussed. It was agreed to continue using the Pump and eventually doing an email newsletter to all residents who wish to join the mailing list. It was agreed to set up a Facebook and Twitter page for Chinnor Parish Council.
