The Clerk reported on recent theft of items from the Parish Council machinery store –

  • To carefully assess what we need to purchase – a ride on mower has been tested and to see if the mower can be hired to test. Alternative mowers are being looked at.
  • We have hired a small mower and strimmer – a brush cutter is also being hired
  • Update on Insurance claim was given by The Clerk – a sum of money, following the recent assessor visit, will be given and then this can be spent on required items. The Insurance may pay for hired equipment – this to be added to the claim form.
  • Current security quotes were discussed. A visit to be arranged to discuss quotes. To confirm that any security measures put onto current shed can be moved to new location
  • Agripower can be booked, at £400.00, for a cut on all large areas soon.
  • Proposed by Cllr Ambridge, seconded by Cllr Wright.
