Minutes of Chinnor Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 28th April 2014
PRESENT: Cllrs. Ambridge, Bird, Fowler, Haywood, Higgs, Marlow, Pickard, Williams, Wright and Young.
The Chairman of the Council formally welcomed all Councillors and public present.

Question time: Two members of the public spoke about the change of use at OKL as they are interested in purchasing a property with a view to the Day Care Nursery.
Concern was raised with regard to the OKL application as the resident believed that there were no obligations for S106.
Also the resident believes that the P14/S0953/O is premature. It is a Green field site and recommends that Brown Field sites should be considered prior to agricultural land. It was also noted that there is an adequate 5 year housing supply.

Planning applications considered:
P14/S0953/O Outline planning consent for residential development for up to 80 dwellings including means of access, open space and associated development at land adjoining Glynswood / Greenwood Meadow, Chinnor. Recommendation: Objection: Not in current local plan. Poor access – emergency vehicles. Brown field sites should be considered prior to Green field.
P14/S0655/FUL Erection of 21 dwellings in lieu of 1555 sq m of class B1 (a) offices at Old Kiln Lakes (former cement works) Express regret at loosing employment opportunity and in particular the Nursery/Day Care building In light of the business interest that has been bought to our attention the PC to speak to the planning office about the day care facility being excluded from this area.
P14/S0995/HH First floor side extension at 9 Millers Turn. Recommendation: Approval
P14/S0981/HH Erection of single storey rear extension and front porch at Fairwood House, 38a Lower Icknield Way. Recommendation: Approval

Insurance quote – Zurich Insurance – it was agreed that the clerk will speak with Zurich regarding the construction/new build and also to assess that the buildings are adequately covered on the schedule. It was agreed to accept the one year renewal option
Issues regarding Muga damage. It was agreed to check with SODC any implication to locking the facility if necessary. It was also suggested that CCTV be considered. No further action at this time. Neighbourhood Police team has been informed.
