Minutes of the FULL COUNCIL MEETING held on Monday 1st October 2018 at 7.30pm,

District and County Councillors' Reports (max 10 mins total)

District council report from Cllr White was emailed prior to the meeting. Cllr Williams stated his thanks to D/Cllr White for his letter and support with regard to the appeal decision for 59-63 Lower Icknield Way.

 

Minutes of the last meeting Minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on 3rd September 2018 were signed and approved, proposed by Cllr Flint and seconded by Cllr Rowton-Lee

 

Minutes of Committees the following committee minutes were signed and approved

Finance and General Purposes held on 10th September 2018 proposed by Cllr Rowton-Lee and seconded by Cllr Young

Planning held on 17th September 2018 proposed by Cllr Haywood and seconded by Cllr Rowton-Lee

Environment on 24th September 2018 proposed by Cllr Higgs and Cllr Haywood

 

To confirm that Cllr Edwards is a member of the F&GP and Environment committees proposed and seconded by Cllr Wright and Cllr Haywood

 

8. Communications

8.1 Chinnor Emergency Plan – update on App progress – cllrs viewed the app and were very impressed with the work that had been done

8.2 Thames Valley Police – amendment to agreement for PCSO has been received which is a 4% increase to costs which will be levied from 1st April 2019. It was agreed that the Finance committee should look at this when considering the 2019/20 budget with a view to continuing this arrangement. Noted that PCSO Graham Davey has returned to cover Chinnor.

8.3 Parish Transport Representatives meeting – 9th October at County Hall from 1pm. John Diffey will attend on behalf of CPC

8.4 Bridge update – OCC intend to remove the existing damaged bridge and to replace it with a new one in one single operation (hopefully in a one-day road closure) rather than diverting pedestrians onto a temporarily improved verge and it is anticipated this bridge replacement work will be undertaken in early November after which the lights and all the barriers can be removed.

8.5 SODC Planning Policy Officers to attend planning meeting to discuss the Ministerial Statement in respect of Housing Land Supply in Oxfordshire to commence at 7pm on 15th October prior to the Planning Committee.

8.6 CPC and D/Cllr White have contacted Central Government to request the appeal decision for 59-63 Lower Icknield Way be questioned.
