Developments

Current situations

Bovis Homes – Cllr Higgs and Cllr Rowton-Lee to make an appointment to meet

A2 Dominion – Cllr Ashdown and Cllr Williams reported on the current development:

  • Road layout is to plan
  • Footpath from development to school is planned
  • The public footpath to be restored to its original route
  • Pumping station will have 7 day storage to improve situation

Bloor Homes – road closure still confirmed as planned

Bellway Homes – Cllr Haywood to visit site and meet site manager

Taylor Wimpey – progressing well – concerns over dwelling height been investigated

Claremont House - completed and for sale

Dimbles Gate – completed and for sale – need to observe bin store location.

Cllr Wright has read through all permission statements including all conditions for each development – to review each one to ensure all conditions are being adhered too.

 

Development proposed but not in our Parish - to be noted and comments made if needed:

P18/S2682/O - Outline application incorporating access details for demolition of existing industrial (B2) buildings. Removal of concrete hardstanding and erection of 5 detached dwellings and garages using existing access to Spriggs Holly Lane. Retention of existing former farmhouse and outbuildings at Steel Works, Crowell Hill Farm, Crowell Hill.

CPC recommendation: No Objection to the application but concerns on new location of business as they wish for the employment opportunity to remain local – CPC can offer support and assistance where necessary. Ref 138373

8. Appeal details

8.1 APP/Q3115/W/17/3192374 – land rear of 59-63 Lower Icknield Way for erection of 7 dwellings – written representations submitted 10-07-18 – now waiting a final decision from the Independent Inspector.

8.2 Appeal Hearings for Cala Management Ltd for erection of 54 dwellings at land off Crowell Road and also Persimmon Homes for demolition of two dwellings (17-19 Greenwood Ave) and erection of up to 14 dwellings at land south of Greenwood Avenue.

Appeal to resume in the Chinnor Community Pavilion at 10am on 2,4,5 and 26th October 2018

Cllr Wright, Williams and Ashdown to attend each day and all other Councillor's to attend as often as possible.

8.3 APP/Q3115/W/18/3201940 – land south east of Doveleat – erection of up to 51 dwellings

Appeal to commence in the Chinnor Community Pavilion at 10am on 11,12,13,14,17,18 December 2018. Cllr Wright, Williams and Ashdown to attend each day and all other Councillor's to attend as often as possible.

 

9. Planning Matters

9.1 Alleged Breach SE18/376 – erection of fence exceeding 1m in height adjacent to the highway at Well Cottage, Greenwood Avenue – case has been closed as all permissions have bene given.

9.2 Notice of making an order – Chinnor Footpath number 11 and number 14 – noted.

9.3 Tree Preservation Order 18S03 - The Barn House, 46 Lower Icknield Way – confirmed.

9.4 St Andrews School - Ref R3.0103/18 Planning application by Oxfordshire County Council for planning permission: New single storey two-classroom teaching block, including withdrawal room, toilets, store rooms, canopy entrance link to existing school building and minor modifications to hard and soft landscaping at St Andrews C Of E School, Station Road, Chinnor, Oxfordshire, OX39 4PU

CPC fully support the additional two classrooms. CPC would have preferred a larger classroom teaching block to be built at this time, as the need for additional space is increasing.

CPC do realise that the sensible aim is to redevelop the entire site as the existing buildings are long time expired.
