Chinnor Volunteer awards – nominations open.
Please fill in a nominations form – this can be downloaded from the CPC website - Homepage
Nominations forms can also be collected from the CPC office or other various outlets in the village.
Please return all completed forms to the Parish Council Offices by 22nd June 2018 – there is a secure box in the office for them to go into until the select committee meet.
The award winners will be announced in the marquee at a gala event on 21st August 2018.
The awards are for people that live within the parish of Chinnor (apart from the Honorary Award) and not for Parish Councillors or the Volunteer Award Select Committee which include the Parish Councillors, Mr David Deval and Mrs Annette Mashru.
You can nominate as many people as you want too – please fill in and return the forms.
An explanation of each category of awards you can nominate within can be found below.
Achievement in the arts - An award in the following: Music, Art, Drama - This award can be for someone of any age and for anyone who contributes to the above Arts – from the star of the show to the person behind the scenes.
Sporting Achievement -This award can be for someone of any age and any sporting achievements. An individual player or sporting team or even someone who goes above and beyond to support their team from the side-lines.
Volunteer of the Year - An individual of any age or organisation within the Chinnor Parish who has given their time or expertise to help others.
Honorary Award -An individual who does not reside within the Chinnor Parish boundary but gives an outstanding contribution to help the parish thrive.
Lifetime Achievement - An individual who has given a lot of time and effort to our community over a number of years and has tirelessly worked for the good of our parish.
Community Support - A great neighbour or friend, someone that works behind the scenes or a special person that always helps out others in times of need.More Events
